God instructs us to love ALL and pray for ALL, even our perceived enemies.
I do my imperfect best to obey God.
I pray that ALL will come to believe in Jesus Christ and spend eternity in heaven and not in hell.
I pray that the conflicts and wars in our world at this time will end and that there will be peace.
I pray that the conflicts in our nation, including on our college campuses and in our “politics,” will end and that there will be peace.
I often think to myself, “why can’t people just love one another???”
If that happened, there would be TRUE peace in the world.

Can you imagine asking God to forgive people who were stoning you to kill you, an EXTREMELY BRUTAL form of capital punishment???
Can you imagine asking God to forgive those who were crucifying you, the MOST BRUTAL form of capital punishment in the history of mankind???
In present times, where stoning and crucifixion are not allowed by law, death by a thousand cuts is prolonged and painful, but not as prolonged and painful as stoning or crucifixion.
